Eating (your) Green(s)

The other day I was sent a cookbook to review. The deadline was rather tight so I decided I could only cook one full meal (appy, main and desert) from the book. I was lucky as everything turned out well and plates were cleaned at the table. Afterwards I asked for feedback and what met with the greatest approval was the fresh cut salsa. Anyone who has ever made salsa from scratch will know how simple it is, I would have had to put effort into messing that one up, but everyone was sure there was a secret and in a way there was.  Continue reading “Eating (your) Green(s)”
