My new official beer!

newbelgiumpatch.jpgIn our consumer culture we are taught that brand loyalty is important. Since forever now my brand of beer has been Guinness. It’s the type of beer that if you like it, you love it, and I love it. By nature I am of course inclined to broaden my horizons and try other beers on occasion. Confusion about whose speech is free from what.

I think reading this really helped me get off my ass (figuratively) and create this site. Not that I am anti-senate as a theme or anything. It’s the thought that counts.

“Section 220 of S. 1, the lobbying reform bill currently before the Senate, would require grassroots causes, even bloggers, who communicate to 500 or more members of the public on policy matters, to register and report quarterly to Congress the same as the big K Street lobbyists. Section 220 would amend existing lobbying reporting law by creating the most expansive intrusion on First Amendment rights ever.”
